October started off full of fun. On Aubrey's birthday it poured and the girls danced in the rain.

Scott had to work late on her birthday so we celebrated that weekend with friends, pizza, cake and presents. Aubrey said it was the best birthday ever!

In September we had the fair complete with animals, rides, and yummy food. Aubrey was really brave and went on a couple of big rides with daddy. Livy still doesn't like rides. We went on the Merry go round and she loved it but only if we sat on a bench that didn't move. She was brave enough to try one ride with Aubrey, she was terrified.

Princess and the Frog

My kids wanted to be a princess and one wanted to be a prince. I wasn't really loving the idea of my cute 6 year old girl going as a prince so we compromised and ended up with Prince Naveen as a frog and Livy would be Princess Tiana.

Aubrey had a party at school, we had 2 other parties, and the girls did a little trick or treating. It was a fun and busy weekend. My kids are still asking to go trick or treating and Olivia has worn her costume for the last 3 days.

Aubrey is officially a Kindergartner! I can't believe she is so big. She loves school. Her favorite part is the monkey bars. She loves her teacher and the kids in her class. She is also excited to see some of her friends from preschool. She goes to school all day every day and is tired when she gets home. She is already learning to read and counting to 50.

We also spent lots of time with family (can't believe I didn't get any pictures), went to lagoon where Aubrey rode on one of the big roller coasters. She wanted to go on the other ones as well but I think she is still way too little. And we did a ton of shopping!

Grandpa Harris

This weekend we were able to spend some time with Grandpa Harris. It was such a wonderful surprise. He lives down in Arkansas and took the long bus ride to visit family. We are so grateful and happy he did. It was so fun to get to meet him, get to know him, and just have him here even if it was only for the day. He is a very special man and we were all sad he had to go so soon. Hopefully he will be back soon. Of course the cameras were out and every hug documented. Here are a few of my favorites.

Aubrey continued to love it. She did so good and passed her class. She loves to swim and go under the water. Olivia's second week was not so good. She only went two of the 5 times and in both she left early due to her screaming and crying. Needless to say I'm pretty sure she didn't pass her class BUT she was sure stylish in her sunglasses and hats.

Both girls were so excited about swimming lessons. One week down and they still love it and are excited to go. Aubrey has so much fun and is learning a lot. She has Isak in her class and really likes her teacher. She is pretty proud of herself that she can now go under the water. Olivia is excited to go and then freaks out once we get there. She will sit with her class and occasionally stand in the water. Her teachers are very sweet and patient with her. The last few days they nicely made her try somethings. Most of the time it goes well and once they are done she sits back on the wall. A few times it ends with tears and screams. She refers to her teachers as "those peoples.
and tells me stories such as "I told those peoples I didn't want to do something but those peoples just make me do something. I am mad at those peoples but they are nice to me."

Well Swimming lessons and the hot weather are wearing them both out.

Preschool graduation

My Aubrey is done with preschool! Its been a fun year and she has learned so much. She knows her abcs and sounds, can count to 20 with a little help, can cut and color, she speaks a little Spanish and sign language, and made some wonderful friends. She is really excited to go to her new school but is already missing her teachers and friends.

We went to her graduation at the park. The kids played, they sang a few songs, and the received their diplomas. It was so fun to watch her intact with her friends and meet all of the cute kids she's been talking about.

So two days ago Livy cut herself some bangs. I think it may have to do with the fact she was watching Tangled at the time (you know at the end when Flynn Ridder cuts Repunzel's hair). Anyway, here's a few pictures to show you the fixed version. She is still pretty cute.

We love when we reiceve a package in the mail from my parents. It seriously like Christmas! And this Easter one was so much fun.

Fun Visit

A few weeks ago my cousin Laura and her two kids came to visit us for a few day. It was so much fun! First of all my kids adore Grace. Look at that sweet baby how can you not. They were in her face tickling her and I'm sure their voices went up about 8 octaves. It was so cute. Of course I couldn't get enough of her as well. Any second I got I pretty much took her. I would have kept her if Laura would have let me.

We also Love Jackson. He is so much fun. It may not look like it from this picture but the kids had so much fun together. I love that he warmed right up to me (when he said my name it sounds just like tissue-never thought that would happen but it makes me smile).

And of course I love Laura. It was so fun to sit back, relax, and chat all weekend. A little crafting was done but most of our time was used taking care of the kids. It was so fun and I hope they come back soon.

Soccer Wrap Up

Aubrey had her last game a few weeks ago and has been asking to play soccer ever since. It was cold, it was fun, but I'm happy its over. She started to figure the game out and loved running up and down the field, getting the occasional kick, and throwing in the ball. We are excited for soccer this fall (I hear its a lot warmer).

My little sister came and stayed the night with us earlier this month. We love having her so close. We went to the park, ate pizza, watched a movie, played, she brought my kids birthday presents (they still love them), and played like crazy.

Last week my friend Katie came into town. So Lena, Katie, and I all got together for a little bit to catch up. Katie was one of my best friends in high school and I miss her. It was so fun to see her and meet her new baby. Lena was also one of my best friend's since up we were 8. I'm so lucky she lives down the street from me. I'm pretty sure my kids love her as much as I do.

9 years after graduating and now look at us.

We ate pizza, opened presents (she also got a Tinkerbell doll I made for her), sang happy birthday, blew out candles, ate cupcakes, and watched Tangled. It was the perfect 3 year old birthday.

I can't believe my Little Olivia is already three. She is growing up so fast and has more personality then one little person should have. Here's a look at the past three years.

Here's a little about Olivia

1. She is still pretty small (most kids her age and younger are quite taller then here) and she weighs about 27 pounds.

2. She loves to dress up, play with her babies, likes to color, play with Aubrey, dance, do tricks, watch movies, read books, tell stories.

3. She loves pizza, her milk, corn dogs (asks for them for breakfast), chicken nuggets from Old McDonald has a farm, candy, and treats

4. She is super bossy and knows it. She tells us how to do everything from catching a ball to where we put her spoon (yes we are working on this)

5. She is super cuddly. so funny, likes to spell her name (o-l-i-v-i-a-i-o) not quite there. she is scared of animals but claims she wants a real bunny for her birthday.

6. She thinks everything is for her and was made for her. (for example my shoe, a fork, etc.)

7. She often talks really low in her mommy voice (so funny)

8. She is really shy around most people and takes a while to warm up so not many people have seen the real Olivia.

Aubrey is half way done with her soccer season and is loving it (these pictures are from the first 3 games). She is starting to figure out what is going on and even kicked the ball a few times. Her favorite thing to do is throw it in. Last game she discovered if she throws it not too hard she will have a chance to kick it a few times before the other kids get there. Its kind of funny.

The first time she kicked the ball a few times in a row. She came home and said she was awesome!

Meet Austin

He is my friends' little boy He is an amazing little three year old in need of a Kidney transplant. Last summer he contracted a deadly strain of E. coli that caused his kidneys to shut down and is very lucky to have survived.

He has been through so much this last year with tests, operations, in and out of the hospital, and dialysis three times a week. It truly is heartbreaking how much this little boy has already been through. He is scheduled for a much needed kidney transplant sometime this spring or summer. You can read his entire story here.

Scott and I decided it would be a good idea if we did more one on one stuff with our girls. It seems like life gets busy and with two its hard to sometime just really talk to them with out all the interuptions. So The Date idea was formed. We each took one kid and did something fun.

Scott and Livy went and got ice cream and then to a fun restaurant to eat french fries and play games (we joined them later for the games)

Aubrey and I went to Mcdonalds for ice cream and had a lot of fun. We taleded about movies, friends, school, soccer, bow and arrows and all her favorite things.

Our girls loved it and are looking forward to the next one.

The rest of February

One of Livy's sleeping positions. She now just starts on the floor its so much easier and she wakes up less in the night (you know from not falling off her bed).

Demi spent the night and in the morning I found them like this on the couch. So cute.

Aubrey started soccer! She has had one practice and the rest have been cancelled because its way too cold.

My kids are so silly. The keyboard is still their favorite toy. They love to dance all day. (notice the hats over their entire faces.) Oh and we are potty training but Livy knows how to put her own diaper on now and sometimes sneaks it past me.

We got a fun package in the mail from my parents and Kade. Aubrey got a really fun airplane and a soccer uniform and Livy got 2 new dresses and a soccer uniform (Livy immediately put on all three!)

Mine and Scott's present. Yes Kade and Merilyn are going to be hanging out in our living room until he gets back. It makes me laugh every time I see it.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day was a lot of fun this year. Aubrey was excited to take cards to her friends. She picked out which one went to each person and wrote her name on them as well. Before school it took some convincing to wear this outfit (she said it was a dress-I told her it was a shirt). At one point I caught her tucking her shirt into her pants, umm not exactly the best look. She eventually decided she liked it and even let me take some pictures. She was being silly and I love some of the ones I got. Oops forgot to mention she even let me do her hair with more then one ponytail. Wow it was a big day.

Instead of standing there the girls raced.

Aubrey brought home lots of fun candy and cards from her friends. We ended the day with some friends over for FHE and some yummy strawberry cake.

Man I am sure awful at this whole blogging thing. Sorry Mom!

So the new favorite toy in the house in the keyboard. It plays lots of fun songs and the girls dance. Aubrey even created some what of a routine to one of the songs. Its adorable.

I've been working hard on rearranging the girl's room because it was a disaster and Livy slept most night like this. Yes she is in the bookshelf. She really is not capable of sleeping on her bed.

I've been making her pose like crazy in all my little projects. She is a great helper and I get some adorable pictures of her.

The other reason I'm working on their room is so they will actually be able to play in there. Before there was no floor space, no organization, and you couldn't find a toy even if you wanted to. This is much better!

Another favorite is taking silly pictures with the camera. Often they make me be in them with them. I look lovely I know. It makes for lots of laughs. I love these little ones.

Livy LOVES babies and stuffed animals. Her new question lately, "Do babies walk?"

Aubrey prefers to sleep (okay that is also like me.)

She still loves school and the bus. She has lots of best friends. Her very best friend is still Carlos. Its been fun meeting a few of the little ones she talks about.

Other things:
*Scott's been working a Ton!
*I've been going to the chiropractor 3 times a week. I am starting twice a week now.
*The girl's went to the doctors and Aubrey went to the eye doctor this last month. Both times I bribed them with Ice cream from McDonald's. Livy calls it McDonald has a farm and often we get an EIEIO in there as well.
*Yesterday I heard them playing and Livy said she was going to the doctors but she wasn't sick. Aubrey then said "okay and after we will get ice cream." Livy said "yes pink ice cream from McDonald has a farm." Aubrey "Oh goodie I love ice cream. I want white."
*Finally last night we discovered Aubrey has a loose tooth and we can already see the one coming in. Umm I'm not ready for this at all! She really need to stop growing up so fast.

That sums up a lot of the last two weeks. Aubrey has been been loving her Christmas present.

and they both love their new hat.

Aubrey was excited to go back to school and see her friends. But she was sick a lot of this week and was sad she had to missed more school.

Aubrey got to ride her bike last week. They look so cute looking at it when it wasn't working.

Livy and I started preschool/princess preschool/mommy school.

Livy started potty training. She is doing pretty good. She often forgets but is really excited when she goes in the potty. The motivation-she wanted shaky socks!

Scott's been working like crazy! We can't wait for it to slow down. I've been doing the same old thing and am officially addicted to Prison Break (I watch it while I work out and its the first thing that has motivated me for more then 2 days...I must love it.)

Vacation Part 3

New Years Eve

Christmas Part 1

We were gone for over 3 1/2 weeks and had so much fun. We sure missed Scott, he had to leave after a few days. Here are some favorite pictures from the few days before Christmas and Christmas morning.

Our long drive went pretty smooth except for the fog. Once we reached the pass we were above it and it looked so pretty.

On Christmas eve we stopped by our favorite place to eat. I sure missed it.

That evening our girls opened their Christmas eve pjs.

We read the Nativity. Livy was Mary, Rachelle the donkey, my mom Joseph, Aubrey the angel, and the rest of us wise men and shepherds.

This year my grandma made all of the grandkids and great grandkids something special. All the of the granddaughters received a doll she made and my girls received these adorable dogs.

Daddy's Work Christmas party. It was a lot of fun. The girls met Santa, made a bunch of crafts, and we ate delicious food.

The Ward Christmas party was also fun. Yummy food, a Christmas program that Aubrey sang in, and of course Santa! Aubrey Actually talked to him this time. She told him she wants a yo-yo.

Livy saw him across the room and got really excited (so not like her). Then she tried to push her way to the front of the line...did I tell you she is terrified of him. So we waited in line and after Aubrey she wanted right up to him and let him pick her up. She sat there looking nervous and as soon as she saw the candy bag she grabbed it and got off. Yes she was in it for the candy.

On our way out the door she stopped Scott's uncle to show him what was in her bag. Livy was pretty proud of her sack of goodies.

We started out countdown to Christmas yesterday and each day has a fun activity. Yesterday we played in the snow! My girls loved it. Even Olivia.

We are moving out tomorrow! Its a cute little house down the street and I am so excited. We are going to rent until we are ready to build either next fall or early the following spring. Its been good here and we are so happy Kathy and Steve were kind enough to let us stay for so long but its is time to move into our own space. Scott and I are both really excited. However its going to be a long two days. Its freezing (and my coat is packed somewhere in the garage), Livy is sick, and Scott is on crutches! He did something to his ankle almost two weeks ago and isn't going to be able to move anything. Good thing we have a lot of family and friends willing to help. Did I mention we love this town? I'll post pictures when we are settled and Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay I feel like I'm always saying this...I'm so far behind. Well the rest of October will be shared in two posts and then I'll start with November. Its time to stay caught up.

Mini high school reunion. It was fun to get a few of us together. I hadn't seen Danny in years and he has an adorable little girl. Also its always fun to see Emily. She just got her mission call to Brazil and I'm so excited for her. Of course Lena I see all the time and Love living by her. We missed the rest of you pity party group.

Kimber just posted the best post about Kelsy. Its hilarious! Really you should go read it. I just want to add one more story. When we were getting ready for Kimber's wedding she was freaking out because she didn't know how to put on mascara. Rachelle finally helped her and Rachelle kept yelling you have to look up! Oh it was great. I'm mean what 17 year old girls doesn't know how to put on mascara (or any makeup).

I can't believe my little sister turned 18! Wow I'm really getting old. Love you Kelsy.

Halloween!

This year we went to the ward Trunk or Treat on Saturday. I've never really been to one so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a lot of fun. The girls had fun going to each car and it was fun to see so many people we know. Scott was in charge of the hot chocolate so we had to get there a little early. We rushed out the door so I didn't get many pictures and it was so dark there that most didn't turn out. That's okay we still got some fun ones and we had a great time.

On Saturday we went to a Fun Halloween Party. My little girls' dressed up and loved their cosutmes.

I can't believe my baby is already 5! It has gone by so quickly. We didn't have much of a party (yet) because over the last month EVERYONE has been sick. So we had enchiladas that she requested and opened presents. I think she had a great day.

She came home with a bunch of birthday stuff from her teachers including this book.

Here are a few things about Aubrey
1. She Loves preschool. Her favorite parts are ridding the bus, her friend Carlos, and playing with the toys.
2. Her favorite movie is Nephi and Laban
3. She Hates dresses and cries if I have she has to wear one.
4. She loves swords, guns, and doing cool tricks.
5. She loves her sister and they have a lot of fun playing together.

The Parade

I swear this town has 10 parades a year...that would be an exaggeration but there are a lot. Well with main street ripped up we were lucky enough to have the parade pass right by our house. It was fantastic! We had more candy then we knew what to do with. It was really fun to sit with Ryan and Melissa's family as well.

I wasn't sure if I was going to post this blog but I thought someone might be intrested that doesn't read my craft blog. I decoded opened my own etsy shop called A.O.kay designs. The A and O are after Aubrey and Olivia, my little girls that inspire me to create.

I am slowly filling it so its still a little empty. I have some items finished I still need to add and a bunch of ideas that I am working on. So Check back often. I'm really excited and think it will be fun to have my own little shop.

The Fair!

We had so much fun at the fair this year.

Aubrey loved this goat. She sat like this and watched it for a while. When we were leaving she said "I think that goat likes me."

Livy loved the cows and would run to the fence any chance she got.

She was so excited to see the pigs.

Other favorite lines while looking at the animals. Livy "I don't like sheep." As soon as we went into the barn she said that and continued to tell us until we left. She did like their pink leg warmer things.

I told Livy to watch where she is walking because there was poop on the ground. Livy got excited and pointed to her bum and said "I have poop in my bum" She probably said it about 20 times in an excited yell.

We rode on some rides. Aubrey was in heaven. She is a little dare devil and loves everything. The faster you go the more she likes it. Kind of sounds like my sister Kelsy.

Its okay she had fun watching Aubrey.

Every Day Life

On Friday we went and got ice cream on our way home from picking up Aubrey's glasses. It was yummy and my girls sure loved it. Aubrey did get ice cream on her glasses. It was the first of many times I had to clean them off.

Scott completed his first 1/2 marathon on Saturday. I thought he was crazy when he said he was going to do it and was really worried when I saw how much he "trained." I really didn't think he would do it. Not only did he run but he beat his goal time by more then either of us thought possible. I am so proud of him.

Right before it started. Lena decided to run it as well. Her motivation was to beat Scott.

Aubrey looks adorable in her new glasses. She is learning to keep them on and to actually look through them and not over or under them. She doesn't love them but is doing pretty well.

Demi's Baptism

At the beginning of the month my dad flew in to baptize my little sister. I can't believe she is already 8 years old! Time sure has flown. It was a really fun weekend. We stayed the night at my Aunt Vivian's, eat pizza, and then went shopping the next morning. My dad spoiled all of us girls. My little girls loved spending time with their grandpa. That night we went to the baptism. My dad baptized her and confirmed her. It was very special and I'm so glad we were able to go. I spoke on the holy ghost and I was so nervous about my talk I forgot to bring my camera. I never forget and I keep waiting for some people to post pictures for my to borrow. So here is the best picture I took all weekend. Demi with her new scriptures and case.

Baby Girls

A few months ago my brother-in-law Steve was cleaning off his computer and found some pictures he took a while ago of our family. They were so precious and I'm so excited to have them. Here are a few of my favorites.

First day of Preschool!

Aubrey had her first day of preschool yesterday and she LOVED it! She is going 4 days a week 3 hours a day. I was a little worried she would be tired but she handled it really well. I took her and she went right in and started looking at books with some of the other girls. I said good bye and left. A few hours later she came home on the bus. That's right she rode the bus alone! She was so excited to tell me about her day. She sang song like Twinkle Twinkle little star. Her teach sang row row row your boat but she didn't know that one. She colored and cut an apple. She had a snack and she played with the fun fun toys. After she told me all about school she then asked me what I did. She is so cute.

I think its going to be a fun year! She is growing up so fast and I'm so excited to see her learn and progress.
